Understanding Heat Loss
While the mechanical heating and cooling system is designed to evaluate the effects of heat loss and gain compensation is often not enough attention paid to the factors that cause the first place. These include the size and type of window relative to the size of rooms, number of functional separation, and the level of air infiltration through windows and doors and air leaks on the floor, walls and ceilings.
An analysis of heat losses, produced by a consultant or independent contractor of HVAC energy taking into account these factors and others in the amount of heat must be available for a specific space heat. But before thinking about ways to add warmth, the honest manufacturer first find a way to avoid losses.
Dormers in particular-could be an important factor contributing to loss of heat (and income). Some building codes specify the number of places that allow the window relative to the total area of the room, the bathroom the most, relatively little is available outside the walls only have a little difficulty with the energy- reliability requirements. In addition, windows and natural light also contribute (if they work) ventilation, except in special circumstances, the challenge is usually to learn how to get more areas of the window to get into the bathroom, not dropped.
